GFCI Outlet Tester

A handy tool for testing correct wiring in AC outlet sockets and for testing GFCI (Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter) function.

Test wiring of both standard and GFCI outlets. Plug the tester into a socket and a combination of LEDs indicates correct wiring or one of these common wiring faults:

• Open Ground
• Open Neutral
• Open Hot
• Hot and Ground Reversed
• Hot and Neutral Reversed

For GFCI outlets, the "test" button simulates a ground fault to ensure a GFCI outlet trips properly.
