About This Item
The Matchbox 1976 Honda CVCC is a 2021 MBX Showroom release featuring Honda’s classic first-generation compact hatchback in a clean white finish. Numbered 49/100, this GVX59-4B10 variation features a black interior, clear windows, detailed front and rear trim, compact two-door hatchback proportions and period-inspired wheels.
The Matchbox 1976 Honda CVCC casting first appeared in 2020 as MB1209. This 2021 white version gives the model a simple factory-style appearance that highlights the recognizable upright cabin, short wheelbase and vintage Japanese compact-car styling associated with the original Honda CVCC.

Why Collect This Model
The 1976 Honda CVCC is a strong addition for collectors of vintage Japanese vehicles, Honda models and classic compact cars. Its white factory-style finish, early Honda hatchback design and MBX Showroom placement give this release a clean presentation within a Matchbox JDM or vintage-import collection.
1976 Honda CVCC also works well in collections organized by Matchbox series, casting, manufacturer, vehicle type, or complete themed sets. The packaging and series identifiers help distinguish this particular issue from other versions of the same model.
