Cruis'n Exotica for the Nintendo 64 is an over-the-top, arcade-style racing game released by Midway Games on October 16, 2000. As the third entry in the series, it shifts the focus from real-world locations to fantastic and bizarre settings across the universe. 

Key Gameplay Features

• Exotic Locations: The game features 60 tracks set in wild locales like Atlantis, Mars, Jurassic jungles, and an underwater ocean floor.
• Bizarre Vehicles: Players can choose from a roster of 28 vehicles, ranging from high-performance sports cars to unconventional choices like forklifts, hippy vans, and police cars.
• Stunt Mechanics: Building on its predecessor Cruis'n World, it emphasizes midair stunts. Players can perform barrel rolls, flips, and heli-spins to shave time off their race.
• PIN System: It uses a PIN system that allows players to save their individual progress, race records, and accumulated miles to unlock hidden content.
• Multiplayer: Supports up to four players simultaneously via split-screen mode.

• Cruis'n Exotica: A challenge mode where players must finish in first place to advance through a sequence of tracks.
• Cruis'n Challenge: Requires placing in the top three to advance. It includes a unique Drag Race sub-mode where players can earn Nitrous Oxide (N2O) boosts by successfully mimicking trick sequences.
• Cruis'n Freestyle: A standard arcade mode used for practice or single point-to-point races to set best times.
