Animal Crossing Wild World NDS Video Game Cartridge Nintendo DS 2005
Nintendo DS non oem reproduction Animal Crossing Wild World video game cartridge. Game will come with a protective plastic case as shown in the picture.
Animal Crossing:Wild World is the second main installment in the series and the first for the Nintendo DS. It is a real-time simulation game where you move into a village of anthropomorphic animals to live in a virtual life with no set end goal.
Core Gameplay and World
- Real-Time Simulation: The game is synced to the console's internal clock and calendar. Days, nights, and seasons pass in real time, affecting which characters are awake, which shops are open, and what types of fish or bugs are available.
- A "Living World": You move into a house (which starts small) and earn "Bells" (in-game currency) to pay off a mortgage to Tom Nook to expand it. Activities include:
- Catching bugs and fish or digging up fossils for the town museum.
- Planting flowers and trees or uprooting weeds to maintain the town.
- Interacting with diverse animal neighbors, each with unique personalities.
- Customization: You can design custom patterns for clothing or wallpaper, create constellations in the night sky at the Observatory, and furnish your home with a wide variety of items.
Key DS Features
- Dual-Screen Display: The game introduced a "rolling log" perspective where the ground and sky are visible simultaneously across both screens.
- Touch Screen Controls: You can use the stylus for world navigation, item management, writing letters, and drawing custom designs.
- Multiplayer Connectivity:
- Local Wireless: Up to four players can hang out in the same village simultaneously via local LAN.
- Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection: This was the first entry to allow visiting friends' towns over the internet, though the official service was discontinued in May 2014.
- Tag Mode: Allows trading villagers and messages automatically when two DS systems are in range.
New Locations and Tools
- Town Hall: Replaces the post office and serves as the central hub for mailing letters, paying loans, and changing the town tune.
- New Shops: Introduces the Shampoodle hair salon, The Roost café (located in the museum), and the Checkpoint at the town gates.
- Tools: Adds the Slingshot for shooting down presents from the sky and the Watering Can for flower maintenance.
