But before glory can be obtained, before the gods can be exalted, they must face and overcome those that would oppose them: demons, devils, and all the forces of darkness.
The great hosts of the celestials are as numerous as the stars in the sky. Some are violent warriors, while others are wondrous and wise, some are helpful but many are horrific and baleful to the unwary or undeserving. But they are all creatures defined by their servitude and their dedication to being agents of cosmic balance, far beyond the ken of the noble adventurer.
