Dragon Ball Kart 64 is a fan-made "homebrew" ROM hack of the classic Mario Kart 64 for the Nintendo 64. Created by the modder ImmaVegeta and released in early 2018, it serves as a comprehensive "reskin" of the original game, replacing the Nintendo cast and world with characters and themes from the Dragon Ball franchise. 

Key Game Features

• Characters: Replaces the 8 standard Mario Kart racers with iconic Dragon Ball figures, including Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, Trunks, Krillin, Piccolo, Beerus, and Cell.
• Audio: Features custom voice acting and sound clips for the new characters, often using higher-quality assets that may require the N64's Expansion Pak (8MB RAM) to run properly.
• Themed Items: Power-ups are re-themed to fit the series—Senzu Beans replace Mushrooms for speed boosts, and Energy Blasts replace Shells for attacking opponents.
• Tracks and Visuals: While the underlying track layouts remain identical to Mario Kart 64 for stability, they are completely re-textured with Dragon Ball aesthetics and modified menus.
