Duke Nukem Advance is an original first-person shooter (FPS) released for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) on August 12, 2002. Developed by Torus Games and published by Take-Two Interactive, the game is a spin-off of the classic Duke Nukem 3D rather than a direct port. It features an entirely original storyline and custom-built levels designed specifically for handheld hardware. 

Gameplay and Story

• Original Campaign: You play as Duke Nukem, tasked by the government to stop an alien invasion. The game spans 19 missions across four global locations: Area 51, Egypt, Sydney (Australia), and an orbiting alien spaceship.
• Combat and Arsenal: The game features 10 weapons, many of which are series staples like the Desert Eagle, RPG, Pipe Bomb, Shrink Ray, and Freeze Thrower.
• Graphics and Performance: Built on the Southpaw Engine, it uses a 2.5D style similar to the original PC title. It is noted for its ability to look up and down and jump, which were advanced features for GBA shooters at the time.
• Multiplayer: Supports up to four players for deathmatch (Dukematch) via the GBA Link Cable, though each player requires their own cartridge.
