Eathworm Jim 2 SNES Video Game Cartridge Super Nintendo 1995
Super Nintendo non oem reproduction Eathworm Jim 2 video game cartridge.
Earthworm Jim 2 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) is a surreal, action-packed run-and-gun platformer released in November 1995. Developed by Shiny Entertainment and published by Playmates Interactive, it is the acclaimed sequel to the original cult-classic hit.
The Story
The plot follows the quirky, suit-wearing annelid superhero, Jim. His arch-nemesis, Psy-Crow, has kidnapped Jim's beloved Princess What's-Her-Name. Psy-Crow plans to take her to "Lost Vegas" for a forced marriage. Jim, accompanied by his new slimy backpack companion Snott, must chase them across the galaxy to thwart the wedding.
Gameplay & Level Design
The sequel trades standard platforming progression for extreme variety, absurd humor, and unique stage mechanics:
· Diverse Stages: Features 12 distinct levels including "Anything But Tangerines," a planet made of bureaucracy called "ISO 9000," and the food-themed "Level Ate".
· Wacky Mechanics: Levels shift drastically from traditional side-scrolling to navigating as a blind cave salamander, inflating Jim's head with helium to float, and using a marshmallow to catch falling puppies in "Puppy Love".
· Expanded Arsenal: Features new weapons alongside the standard Plasma Blaster, including the homing missile gun, the incredibly powerful Barn Blaster, and the useless Bubble Gun.
· Snott's Abilities: Jim's new sidekick Snott can be used to stick to slimy green ceilings or open up as a parachute during long drops.
