Frailty - Collector's Set (4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray + Digital)
Frailty makes its chilling 4K debut in Dolby Vision, presented as a premium Lionsgate Limited release packed with new and legacy bonus features—plus a standout collector item: a printed reproduction of director Bill Paxton’s complete original shooting script, featuring handwritten notes throughout (preserved as authentically as possible, including quirks like upside-down pages).
With striking new artwork by Justin Erickson (Phantom City Creative)—blending American Gothic-inspired portraiture with stained-glass imagery—this edition highlights the film’s unsettling themes of faith, fear, and family.
Bill Paxton’s striking directorial debut centers on the God’s Hand Killer, who terrorized a small Texas community with axe-wielding brutality. Years later, Fenton Meiks (Matthew McConaughey) walks into an FBI office with a shocking revelation: he not only knows who the killer is, but where the bodies are buried.
Fenton recounts a terrifying childhood shaped by his father (Paxton), who claimed to receive an angelic vision commanding him to destroy “demons” in human form. Enlisting Fenton and his brother Adam in this divine purge, the father’s mission pushes the family into horrifying territory—testing the boys’ minds and souls and fusing retribution and redemption in deeply unsettling ways.
