Gameboy Advance non oem reproduction Lufia The Ruins of Lore video game cartridge. Game cartridge comes with a plastic protective case just like the picture shows.

Lufia The Ruins of Lore is a role-playing game (RPG) released for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) in 2002. Developed by Atelier Double and published by Atlus in North America, it serves as a side story (gaiden) to the main Lufia series, set 20 years after the events of Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals.

Key Features

  • Combat System: Unlike many traditional RPGs of the era, enemies are visible on the dungeon map, and battles are triggered only upon contact. The combat itself remains classic turn-based.
  • Monster Capture: Players can capture "Disc Monsters" (similar to the Capsule Monsters from Lufia II), which can be trained, leveled up, and even fused with human characters for powerful three-turn transformations in battle.
  • Job System: Characters can change classes (e.g., Swordsman, Priest, Thief, Mage) to learn specific abilities and spells, allowing for deep party customization.
  • The Ancient Cave: A returning series staple, this is a 60-floor, randomly generated dungeon where players can find rare treasures but risk losing their equipment if they are defeated.
  • Navigation: Travel between major locations is done through "routes" that act like smaller dungeons rather than a traditional open overworld map.

Story Overview

The plot follows a young adventurer named Eldin and his friends, Torma and Rami, who set out to become "Hunters"—licensed treasure seekers. Their journey escalates when the militaristic Kingdom of Gratze, led by a mysterious man named Ragule, begins searching for "The Beast," a legendary monster capable of world conquest.
