Gameboy Advance non oem reproduction Mario Power Tennis video game cartridge. Game cartridge comes with a plastic protective case just like the picture shows.

Mario Power Tennis is a 2005 sports role-playing game developed by Camelot for the Game Boy Advance. It is widely considered one of the best sports titles on the system, blending traditional tennis gameplay with deep RPG-style character progression.

Key Gameplay Features

  • RPG Story Mode: Players choose between two protagonists, Clay or Ace, who enroll in the Royal Tennis Academy. You must rank up from the Junior Class to the Varsity Squad by winning matches and completing training.
  • Power Shots: A central mechanic where players charge a gauge to unleash cinematic Offensive or Defensive Power Shots, such as Mario's hammer smash or Donkey Kong's banana boomerang.
  • Character Progression: You earn experience points (XP) to level up specific stats like Power, Speed, Spin, and Control, allowing you to customize your player's strengths.
  • Training Minigames: A variety of skill-based minigames—ranging from breaking blocks to target practice—are used to earn XP and unlock new Power Shots.
  • Mushroom Kingdom Crossover: While the story focuses on original human characters, classic Mario characters like Mario, Luigi, Peach, and Bowser appear in the endgame and are playable in Exhibition Mode.

Modes & Compatibility

  • Exhibition Mode: Allows for quick singles or doubles matches using a roster of human academy students and Mario series characters.
  • Multiplayer: Supports up to four players for local matches using a Game Boy Advance Wireless Adapter or Link Cable.
  • Technical Style: The game features a polished visual style similar to Camelot’s other GBA hits, like Golden Sun, with detailed 2D sprites and expressive animations.
