Mega Man Zero 1 is a fast-paced action-platformer released for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) in 2002. Developed by Inti Creates and published by Capcom, it serves as a direct sequel to the Mega Man X series, set approximately 100 years later. 

Story and Premise

• The Awakening: After a century of slumber, the legendary Reploid Zero is awakened by a young scientist named Ciel.
• The Conflict: Zero suffers from memory loss but joins Ciel's Resistance to fight against the tyrannical government of Neo Arcadia, which is persecuting Reploids to solve a global energy crisis.
• The Villain: The antagonist is Copy X, a powerful but flawed duplicate of Zero's former partner, the original Mega Man X. 

Gameplay Features

• Mission-Based Structure: Unlike previous games that allow for free stage selection, Zero accepts specific missions from a hub base, exploring an interconnected world.
• Weapon System: Zero starts with a Buster Shot (handgun) and later gains the Z-Saber, Triple Rod, and Shield Boomerang. These weapons can be leveled up through repeated use to unlock new moves and faster charge times.
• Cyber Elves: Players can collect and use "Cyber Elves"—disposable helper spirits that provide permanent upgrades (like health extensions) or temporary aid (like slowing enemies).
• Elemental Chips: Defeating certain bosses grants elemental chips (Fire, Ice, and Thunder) that can be equipped to weapons to exploit enemy weaknesses.
