Pokemon Silver for the Nintendo 64! Play this classic on your TV without the need for any additional hardware or accessories. 

This cartridge also comes with some amazing built in features.

Press Down C to instantly save your game, then press and hold Up C to load the game.

My personal favorite new feature, is the ability to hold down Right C, and enable fast forward!

IMPORTANT - Make sure to not press Down C while in the menu. Only save when the game file has been loaded, and the main menu IS NOT OPEN.

Pokémon Silver Version is a landmark role-playing game (RPG) for the Game Boy Color, serving as the second generation of the Pokémon series alongside Pokémon Gold. Set three years after the original games, it introduces the Johto region, 100 new Pokémon species (bringing the total to 251), and revolutionary mechanics like a real-time internal clock. 

Core Gameplay Features

• Real-Time Clock System: An internal battery-backed clock tracks the time of day and day of the week, affecting which Pokémon appear in the wild and triggering specific weekly events.
• The PokéGear: A multi-functional device that includes a digital clock, a map, a radio for changing music/hints, and a mobile phone for receiving calls and rematches from NPC trainers.
• New Pokémon Mechanics:
• Breeding: Players can leave two compatible Pokémon at the Day Care to produce eggs, introducing "Baby Pokémon" like Pichu and Togepi.
• New Types: The introduction of Steel and Dark types helped rebalance the competitive battle system.
• Held Items: For the first time, Pokémon could hold items that provide benefits in battle, such as healing berries or stat boosters.
• Dual-Region Adventure: After defeating the Elite Four in Johto, players can travel back to the original Kanto region to challenge all eight original Gym Leaders and ultimately face the legendary trainer, Red, at Mt. Silver. 

Story & Setting

You play as a young trainer from New Bark Town who receives their first Pokémon (Chikorita, Cyndaquil, or Totodile) from Professor Elm. Your journey involves collecting eight Gym Badges, thwarting the resurgence of the villainous Team Rocket, and competing to become the Pokémon Champion. 

Version Exclusives & Key Differences

While mostly identical to Pokémon Gold, certain species can only be caught in Silver, such as Lugia (featured on the box art), Skarmory, and Vulpix. Full descriptions of these differences can be found on sites like Pokémon.com and the Nintendo Wiki.
