The OREI EX-170C HDMI extender allows you to transmit HDMI audio/video signals over Cat6/7 cable with zero latency along with maintaining original audio/video quality. It supports up to 4K@30Hz 4:2:0 resolution and extends the transmission distance up to 165 feet (50 meters).

Compact, durable, and easy to set up and operate. Ideal for home, businesses, test bench facilities, data centers, and help desks.

You can also operate a set-top box or a Blu-ray player using its remote when at the remote monitor and vice versa.

HDMI Loop-out - Connect HDMI display to the transmitter for output to local display at the source.

IR control - enables source device to recognize remote commands from the remote display

Yes, you will be able to get a signal beyond the mentioned distance but the quality of the video decreases with increase in the distance and that too when using with shielded CAT6 cable.

Both the ends of the CAT cable should be termed as EIA-568B & the cable should be straight & not crossed.

You can extend the display devices up to 170 Feet when using with a shielded CAT6 cable.

The issue might be with the CAT cable. This might be due to the external interference of the signals & CAT5e has low bandwidth as compared to the CAT6. We recommend you using shielded CAT6 cable.

If the power and link led lights does not illuminate on the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the receiver, then the transmitter & receiver might be dead.

Please contact us so that we can troubleshoot the issue.

Our all the extenders supports IR Frequency & the devices using RF frequency will not be compatible with our products.

The IR Blaster/Emitter should be connected to the IR out port on the Transmitter and the IR Receiver should be connected to the IR in on the Receiver.
