The OREI UHD-EXB330AUR-K HDMI extender balun lets you transmit high-definition audio and video signals over Cat5e/6/7 cable up to 330 feet. It supports up to 4K resolution at 60 frames per second with YUV 4:4:4 color space, as well as HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The device is compliant with HDMI 2.0b and HDCP 2.2 standards.It features HDBaseT technology, which enables lossless transmission of HDMI audio and video, RS-232 serial data, bidirectional IR control signals, and more over a single cable up to 330 feet. The device also supports ARC/eARC, allowing you to connect an ARC/eARC TV to an ARC-compatible AV receiver even if they are placed far apart. This extender balun is ideal for extending HDMI signals from and to AV closets. It also supports KVM extension, allowing you to connect a keyboard and mouse to your PC remotely via two USB 2.0 ports. The device is compact, durable, and easy to set up and use. Supported HDMI Audio Formats: LPCM 2.0/2.1/5.1/6.1/7.1, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus (DD+), DTS-ES, DTS HD Master, DTS HD-HRA, DTS-X.

You can extend the display devices up to 330 Feet when using with a shielded CAT6 cable.
The issue might be with the CAT cable. This might be due to the external interference of the signals & CAT5e has low bandwidth as compared to the CAT6. We recommend you using shielded CAT6 cable.
If the power and link led lights does not illuminate on the RJ45 port of the transmitter and the receiver, then the transmitter & receiver might be dead.

Please note that this product only supports the CEC function between HDMI input & HDMI output 1.
No, optical output doesn't supports CEC due to its limitations. CEC will work only with HDMI devices.
HDBaseT is the technology used for long distance transmission of lossless signals, resulting extremely low latency & giving the best picture quality.
In normal extenders, if you extend your signals up to some extend, the quality of the signals will degrade & you may find some latency issues. HDBaseT is the lastest standard which provides extending your signals to the longer distance without degrading the quality of the signals & with 0 latency.
We recommend you using a shielded CAT6 cables for optimum performance.
Our all the extenders supports IR Frequency & the devices using RF frequency will not be compatible with our products.
The IR Blaster/Emitter should be connected to the IR out port on the Transmitter and the IR Receiver should be connected to the IR in on the Receiver.
