I sold my entire PS1 collection here that I've owned for 15+ years, and this is the only place where I genuinely believe you can sell your stuff or buy stuff and will ACTUALLY get a fair price. I come from NYC where retro shops SEVERELY under value your retro games by roughly 87%-90% It's market value when you sell them despite what you know; doesn't feel great when you visually see the store increase the price of the game you gave them by 300%.
Retro Gaming of Denver gave me the same price I saw on the market, I felt no pressure, It was a very relaxed experience. He gave me an itemized list which showed each title and what they were worth which honestly was very, very, nice. This place has my business exclusively.

Retro Gaming of Denver is really what all retro game shops should be. You've got an owner who is passionate about the hobby who decided to take the plunge to start a business that really provides a high-quality product.
I trade games I pick up here and there with Retro Gaming of Denver and I'm always treated well. They usually take everything I bring in, which is great, because I don't want to bring it home and I'm stoked to know it's going to a good home.
JD, the owner, cares about the hobby. He provides a fantastic selection of games, is constantly restocking, and is honest and upfront with what he's willing to pay out in trade credit (or cash). I've brought him about 150 games so far and he gives me an itemized receipt every time.
If you're looking to buy, sell, or trade used retro gaming stuff (consoles, games, etc), this is the place to go. Forget the chains, forget your other local shop, this is the place and the guy you want to talk to.
