In the AE86 COROLLA LEVIN which made its debut in March of 1983, the FR layout was adopted, although the FF layout was common in those days.For the power unit, the newly developed twin cam 16 valve engine 4A-G was adopted in place of the 2T-G engine used in its predecessors. In 1985, minor changes were made to the shapes of front and rear bumpers, rear combination light, and interior color. This model kit reproduces the "Hachiroku" style which used to be popular, based on the later version of the model, with the genuine optional parts such as aluminum wheels manufactured by Intra, mud flap, sidestep, and rear spoiler attached.
