The Classic NES Series: Castlevania for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) is a portable port of the original 1986 Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) title. Released in October 2004, it faithfully recreates the gothic horror platforming of the first entry in the long-running series.

• Difficulty: The game is known for its steep challenge, featuring "stiff" controls (Simon cannot change direction mid-jump) and unforgiving boss fights against figures like the Grim Reaper.
