Chameleon Twist is a 3D platformer released for the Nintendo 64 in 1997. It is known for its unique central mechanic: a versatile, extendable tongue controlled via the analog stick that serves as your primary tool for navigation, combat, and puzzle-solving.

The game's identity revolves entirely around how you manipulate your character's tongue: 

• The Tongue Mechanic: By holding the B button and moving the control stick, you can guide the tongue in a 360-degree radius.
• Combat: You don't jump on enemies to defeat them; instead, you swallow them with your tongue and spit them back out as "bullets" to hit other foes or bosses.

• Pole Vaulting: Pressing the Z button allows you to use your tongue to vault high into the air to reach elevated platforms.

• The Premise: A blue chameleon named Davy (or one of his friends) follows a mysterious white rabbit into a magical pot.
• Transformation: Upon entering the magical portal, the chameleon takes on a more humanoid, anthropomorphic form.
• The Goal: You must navigate through six themed worlds—Jungle Land, Ant Land, Bomb Land, Desert Castle, Kids Land, and Ghost Castle—to find a way back home. 

Game Modes

• Single-Player Campaign: A linear adventure through the six worlds, each culminating in a unique boss fight.
• Battle Mode (Multiplayer): Supports 2–4 players in two distinct modes:
• Battle Royal: A survival mode where you try to knock opponents off a suspended platform.
• Time Trial: Players compete to stay on the platform the longest.
• Training Mode: A five-room area where the white rabbit teaches you basic and advanced tongue maneuvers.
