Dragon Ball GT: Transformation is a side-scrolling beat 'em up developed by Webfoot Technologies. Unlike the developer's previous Legacy of Goku RPGs, this title focuses on arcade-style brawling as you navigate the Black Star Dragon Ball and Baby story arcs.

Key Gameplay Features

• Team Dynamics: You can build a three-man team and switch between characters on the fly during battle.
• Combat System: Moves include standard melee combos, ki blasts, and special energy attacks. Character stats (Health, Strength, and Power) can be upgraded via power-ups.
• Currency & Unlocks: Players earn Zeni based on their performance (combos, time, and points), which is used to buy new game modes and secrets in the in-game shop.
• Game Modes: While "Story Mode" is available immediately, other modes like Endurance, Boss Endurance, Robot Swarm, and a Piccolo-themed multiplayer mode must be unlocked. 

Playable Characters & Roster 

The game features a mix of characters playable across all modes and some exclusive to the story: 

• All-Mode Playable: Goku (Base, Super Saiyan, SS4), Pan (with Giru), Trunks, Uub, Vegeta (Super Saiyan), Baby Vegeta (Super Baby 2), and Piccolo.
• Story-Only: Goku (with tail) and Golden Great Ape Goku. 

Story & Levels

The campaign spans 12 levels, tracing the journey from Planet Imecka to the final confrontation with Golden Great Ape Baby Vegeta on the Tuffle Planet. Because the game only covers the first half of the GT series, a sequel was planned but ultimately cancelled due to average sales.
