Final Fight 2 SNES Video Game Cartridge Super Nintendo 1993
Super Nintendo non oem reproduction Final Fight 2 video game cartridge.
Final Fight 2 is a 1993 side-scrolling beat 'em up game developed and published by Capcom exclusively for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). Unlike its arcade-born predecessor, this sequel was designed specifically for the home console market. It fixed the major criticisms of the first game's SNES port by introducing 2-player simultaneous cooperative play and expanding the roster to three playable characters.
The Story
Time has passed since Mike Haggar, Cody, and Guy defeated the Mad Gear gang in Metro City. While Cody is away on vacation and Guy is on a training journey, the remaining members of Mad Gear secretly regroup under a new leader named Retu. To extract revenge, they kidnap Guy's fiancée, Rena, and her father, Genryusai. Rena's sister, Maki, contacts Mayor Mike Haggar for help. Haggar, joined by his martial arts friend Carlos Miyamoto, embarks on a globe-trotting mission to crush the resurrected criminal syndicate.
Playable Characters
· Mike Haggar: The returning protagonist, former pro wrestler, and Mayor of Metro City. He is the slowest character but packs the highest physical strength and devastating grappling moves like the spinning pile driver.
· Maki Genryusai: Rena's younger sister and a master of the Genryusai Bushin-ryu ninjutsu style. She acts as the fast, agile, but weaker character of the trio.
· Carlos Miyamoto: A South American martial artist of Japanese descent who lives with Haggar. He balances speed and power, using a katana during his health-draining special attack.
Gameplay & Features
· Worldwide Brawling: Instead of staying in Metro City, players travel through 6 distinct countries to rescue the hostages: Hong Kong, France, Holland, England, Italy, and Japan.
· Combat Mechanics: Players use standard punch combos, jumps, and specialized grab-and-throw mechanics. Triggering a character's invulnerable special move clears crowds but costs a small portion of health.
· Items and Pickups: Smashing open crates and oil drums reveals usable weapons (knives, nightsticks, and 2x4 lumber) as well as food items to replenish the life bar.
· Bonus Stages: Includes 2 interactive bonus stages between rounds, including the classic car-smashing mini-game and a barrel/drum-breaking challenge.
· Difficulty Settings: Features adjustable difficulty levels. The complete ending is gated, requiring players to beat the game on the brutal "Expert" mode to view it.
