In Inis, players compete to become the High King or Queen by proving their leadership across the island. Victory can be achieved in several ways: commanding territories filled with rival clans, expanding your presence across the land, or holding sacred ground where ancient sanctuaries stand.
Each round begins with a tense card draft where players choose the actions that will shape the coming conflicts. Once the cards are revealed, clans move across the island, battles erupt, alliances shift, and carefully laid plans unfold.
Expansion and influence are just as important as strength. Players settle new territories, construct citadels and sanctuaries, and maneuver through a web of diplomacy where today’s ally may become tomorrow’s rival. Negotiation, promises, and betrayals are all part of the path to the throne.
