Pokemon 10th Anniversary Distribution Cartridge GBA Game Boy Advance

To celebrate 10 years of the Pokemon franchise, GameFreak held special events around the world for a limited time in 2006 where players could go visit specific locations to receive special event Pokemon. These special event Pokemon were distributed to players thanks to a Pokemon distribution cartridge sent out to the locations the event was being held. 

The ten Pokemon you could receive from this cartridge were Pikachu, Charizard, Articuno, Latios, Latias, Raikou, Entei, Suicune, Lugia and Ho-oh. However, once the dates for the event had passed, the event cartridges were to be sent back to Nintendo, where they were to never be seen or heard from again.

The 10th Anniversary Pokemon/distribution is also the only way to get a large handful of Pokemon without the aid of other events, such as Ho-oh and Lugia (Mystic Ticket) and the Latios/Latias depending on which game you’re playing (Eon Ticket). This distribution service uses real hardware and the original rom from the distribution cartridge to be done and thus all Pokemon which come from it are 100% genuine and legitimate.

This distribution service is meant to allow those who wish to gain access to the 10th Anniversary Pokemon the opportunity to do so many years after their inception. These Pokemon make a great gift for those looking to relive the generation three games with a rare Pokemon, those looking to complete their Pokedex, event Pokemon collectors, among many other things.
