Pokemon Yellow for the Nintendo 64! Play this classic on your TV without the need for any additional hardware or accessories. 

This cartridge also comes with some amazing built in features.

Press Down C to instantly save your game, then press and hold Up C to load the game.

My personal favorite new feature, is the ability to hold down Right C, and enable fast forward!

IMPORTANT - Make sure to not press Down C while in the menu. Only save when the game file has been loaded, and the main menu IS NOT OPEN.

Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition is an enhanced version of the original Pokémon Red and Blue games, specifically updated to align more closely with the Pokémon anime series. Released for the Game Boy, it remains a defining title of the "Generation I" era. 

Core Gameplay & Story

You play as a young trainer in the Kanto region with a simple but ambitious goal: defeat the eight Gym Leaders, conquer the Elite Four, and become the Pokémon League Champion. Along the way, you must foil the plans of the criminal organization Team Rocket. 

Key Features & Differences

• The Pikachu Connection: Unlike other games where you choose between three starters, you are forced to start with a specific Pikachu that refuses to stay in its Poké Ball. This Pikachu follows you on the overworld map and reacts to your actions; you can even check its mood by "talking" to it.
• Anime Influence: The game incorporates characters and plot points from the TV show. You’ll encounter the iconic duo Jessie and James from Team Rocket, and your rival’s team is designed to mirror Gary Oak’s.
• Original Starters: In a nod to the show, you can actually obtain all three original starters—Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle—throughout your journey without needing to trade.
• Enhanced Visuals & Audio: The game features updated front sprites for Pokémon that better match the official artwork of the time. It also includes a digitized voice clip for Pikachu, provided by Ikue Ōtani.
• Surfing Pikachu: A special "Pikachu's Beach" mini-game is included, which was originally only accessible if your Pikachu knew the move Surf.
