You’ve seen beyond the mask and now you must make a choice: forget what you’ve seen or leave what you know behind.Long ago, the magical land of Nakatsukuni was plunged into chaos as Yomi, the afterlife itself, rebeled against the gods, using the body of the dead mother goddess, Izanami as its host. For years, the gods waged war against Yomi until just fourteen years ago when, in a desperate bid to avert the apocalypse, the gods tore a hole in reality: a long shadow scar.

Izanami and her monstrous army were banished through this scar and the apocalypse was averted. But as peace came to Nakatsukuni, chaos rained beyond the shadow scar. In banishing their enemy, the gods had unleashed thousands of monstrous creatures onto the many worlds beyond Nakatsukuni.

To defend the multiverse the gods created the Shadow Scar Agency: an organization of people from many worlds trained in ninjutsu at ancient shinobi academies. Armed with high tech tools and magical artifacts, they travel across the multiverse to hunt down their vicious adversaries and stop them before they can wreak havoc.

Shadow Scar is a Tabletop Roleplaying Game inspired by Japanese mythology, the legends of ninja, anime like Full Metal Alchemist, and stories of secret agents like the Men in Black.

The Core Rulebook contains everything you need to run a one night session or a multi-year campaign.
