This spectacular park in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains is known for its ancient Sequoia trees and massive granite cliffs like El Capitan and Half Dome. Our Yosemite painting also pays homage to Albert Bierstadt, a famous German American painter whose Valley of the Yosemite painting was completed in 1864, the year Yosemite was first protected.
